Microbrute sequences

By | December 8, 2014

Added a microbrute to my arsenal today.. after some playing around I exported my saved sequences via the Microbrute Connection software. Opened up the resulting .mbseq file and was happy to find out the data is in a simple readable format using midi note values. For example:

1:60 x 72 x 48 x 36 x 24 x
2:24 x 60 x 72 x x x 24 x 96 x 60 x 24 x 96 x 24 x 72
3:48 60 48 60 48 60 63 51 48 60 48 60 63 51 67 55 48 60 48 60 48 60 63 51 48 60 48 60 63 51 67 61

I’m going to knock myself together a quick editor in C#.

Additionally, you can export patterns from Buzz modular’s PXP pattern editor in .csv format.. so I might just add that conversion into the app as well. Good stuff.
